While it is a shame that the game won't be able to take advantage of the Xbox One's boosted graphics capabilities, when Burnout Paradise was released on Xbox 360 all the way back in 2008 it wasn't exactly a bad looking game. And lucky for those thousands of fans, Criterion has confirmed that that they are talking to Microsoft about making Burnout Paradise available on Xbox One via backwards compatibility. With almost 8,000 votes logged, fans are clearly eager to take to the streets (and the dirt roads and alleyways) of Paradise City once more. Fans have also been voting on the official Xbox website with Call of Duty: Black Ops and Black Ops 2 getting over 40,000 votes each (no doubt thanks to Black Ops 3's imminent release), Batman: Arkham City has almost 30,000 votes, and Xbox One versions of Halo Wars and Halo: Reach are also highly requested.Īlso making an impact as the most highly requested driving game on the list is Criterion Games' open-world racer, Burnout Paradise.
Fans have been quite vocal about which games they would like to play on Xbox One, with Game Rant's own wishlist including the likes of cowboy sandbox Red Dead Redemption, open world dragon slayer The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, and space soap opera Mass Effect 2.
