Since then, the community and Texel Raptor have worked together in adding new features and content over the years in development, with the goal of bringing back the best of classic theme park games with many new features and content on top. A year later it reached Early Access and quickly gained a dedicated community who even figured out how to mod the game early on. Originally Kickstarted after a couple prototypes in Augby game artist Garret Randell, programmer Sebastian Mayer and sound studio A Shell in the Pit. In Parkitect you are a theme park designer releasing back in November 2018.
The game is already available on Humble Store, GOG and Steam. Thanks to the continuing efforts of developer Texel Raptor. The 27 Original scenarios included in the base game. Currently there are 37 scenarios available, 10 which are restricted to the Taste of Adventure DLC. Each scenario have objectives, a limited budget and some buildings must be researched first before being able to be constructed. In Parkitect, the emphasis is on management with a resource management system and sometimes picky guests to take care of. Parkitect adds multiplayer for up to 8 people in Linux gaming, Mac and Windows PC. The campaign mode is one of the original game mode available in Parkitect.
It also includes sandbox mode and Workshop support to easily share and play new parks. In Parkitect you are a theme park designer, tasked with building and managing theme parks across a 26 level campaign mode.
